the sinclair zx spectrum was one of the most popular european computers of the 80's. two models were launched: one with 16 kb ram and one with 48 kb ram. wow, what a machine. to store your written code/program you had to record it to a cassette/tape (modulation|demodulation / bits|tones). what a mess - essentially 97% of my old (previous david-hasselhoff-) tapes crashed after backup or had errors.. crazy times ;)

notepad++ - great generic source code editor if you like having a holy hand on source more than wysiwyg, unfortunately only win32 api
VirtualBox - a family of powerful virtualization products - the only professional solution that is freely available as open source software under the terms of the GNU general public license, i like it!
